THC-711A Digital Time Switch

The THC-711A employs a crystal-controlled real-time clock circuit to achieve its ±1 second per day timing accuracy, with the clock and all programmed data maintained by an internal battery backup during power loss. Output switching is performed through a changeover contact rated at 16A, 220–240V AC, providing both normally open and normally closed circuit paths to accommodate varied load and control configurations. The push-button interface writes program data directly to non-volatile memory, ensuring schedule integrity across power cycles.

The unit's internal power supply draws no more than 5VA from the mains, minimising thermal load within the enclosure. The thermoplastic housing provides adequate insulation and mechanical protection for indoor panel-mount environments, with the device rated for continuous operation between -5°C and 40°C at relative humidity up to 95% (non-condensing).
