The TBC-WD18 enclosure is constructed around a rigid flame-retardant thermoplastic body rated to IP65 in accordance with standard ingress protection classifications, providing a sealed environment for up to five modular DIN-rail devices. The 35 mm DIN rail is factory-fitted within the enclosure, offering a secure and standardised mounting platform compatible with the full range of modular circuit protection devices. Cable entry is facilitated through dedicated knock-out or pre-formed entry points positioned to allow clean, strain-relieved cable routing into the enclosure interior.

The UV-stabilised housing compound is selected to withstand prolonged outdoor exposure without significant mechanical or aesthetic degradation. The transparent cover is retained by a robust locking latch system that maintains the IP65 seal integrity when closed, ensuring that the enclosure continues to meet its rated protection level throughout its operational life. Dimensions of 188 × 90 × 356 mm have been optimised to balance internal device capacity with an externally compact footprint.
