Conductor terminations within the lampholder are designed to accept and retain supply conductors securely, ensuring low-resistance electrical contact throughout the service life of the fitting. The bayonet-cap lamp socket mechanism provides positive lamp retention, preventing unintended lamp displacement during normal use.
